This is a general purpose, double-component, non-sagging, highly resistant and adhesive, epoxy-based filler putty. Additionally, it offers high resistance to water and chemicals. The product yields perfect results when applied in thick layers. For covering small and medium-sized defects on the surface. Can be successfully used for the treatment of osmosis problems on glass fiber boats.
Surface Preparation&Application
Surfaces should be free of any loose materials that could reduce adherence. All metal surfaces should be ideally sandblasted at minimum degree of Sa2 ½ and primed with Epoxy Anti-corrosive Primer within 6 hours. All wooden surfaces should be primed with Transparent Impregnated Primer 49. 1 unit of Epoxy Putty and 1 unit of Epoxy Putty Hardener should be blended, waited for 5-10 minutes before applying with the help of a floating rule.
Thinning / Blending Ratio
1 unit of Epoxy Putty + 1 unit of Epoxy Putty Hardener by weight. Use without thinning.
Coverage Area
Mixture consumption (kg/m²) = 1.5 * application thickness (mm) (i.e. for 10 mm: 1.5*10=15 kg/m²). Coverage area varies in practice according to surface roughness and spillage.
Drying Time
24 hours. Minimum 24 hours resting time before the application of another coat. Reaches mechanical resistance in 4 to 6 days.
Recommended Application Tools
Spatula, putty knife, floating rule.
