This is a perfectly adhering, flexible, chlorine-rubber based anti-fouling paint primer that prevents water absorption on both underwater and above water sections of wood, metal and polyester surfaces it is applied.
Surface Preparation&Application
Before application, the surface should be washed with fresh water and sanded with waterproof sand paper. After sanding, the surface should be washed with fresh water again and then dried. The surface should be wiped with a lint-free cloth and Polisel Cellulosic Thinner. Infrastructure preparation, cleaning and leveling should be completed before priming with two coats of Polisel chlorine-rubber based boat primer. The first layer should be applied with a soft brush. The application of the fouling paint should begin after a curing period of 6 to 8 hours following the second layer that is applied after waiting for 6 to 8 hours.
Thinning / Blending Ratio
Used without thinning.
Coverage Area
Approximately 10 m²/L on single coat.
Drying Time
At 23℃, the primer is touch-dry in 1 hour, antidust-dry in 2 hours and hard-dry in 8 hours.
