Alkyd-binder based, air-drying, superior-quality gloss paint for finishing coats. Used as finishing coat on boards, top structures and interior sections of marine vessels, and on wood and metal interior and exterior surfaces.
Surface Preparation&Application
Remove any kind of stains, rust, grease and loose paint / coating layers. Then sand the surface to create asufficient key. Burn wood knots without damaging the wood, then remove any resin that bleeds out. Wipe with Polisel Cellulosic Thinner. Prime prepared wood surfaces with 2-3 coats of Polyurethane Transparent Impregnated Prime-49. Sandblast prepared metal surfaces to a minimum degree of Sa2, or ideally to Sa2 ½, and apply epoxy anti-corrosive primer within the following 6 hours. Monitor the dew point during application and avoid treating moist or wet surfaces. Moisture and/or water may cause the product to bubble become dull or detach from the surface. Apply in two coats. A curing time of 1 day is required between coats.
Thinning / Blending Ratio
May be thinned by 15-20% with Polisan Synthetic Thinner.

10-12 m²/kg (paint for a dry film thickness of -30 – 40 microns)
Drying Time
Touch dry in 2-3 hours at 23 °C and 50% relative humidity rate, 5-6 hours for dust removal, and 15 hours solid dry.
Recommended Application Tools
Air spray gun (air pressure: 3-4 bar, nozzle diameter: 1.4-1.6 mm), airless spray gun, roller and brush.
