Water and acrylic copolymer binder-based, silicon-added primer that is resistant to lime and cement. Used as an initial primer for plaster, concrete, brick and similar surfaces to create a firm surface for finishing coats.
Surface Preparation&Application
Apply on hardened new plaster (6-8 weeks old) and/or firm old and dry plaster. Dirt and loose materials must be removed when applying for the first time. Ensure the surface is clear of dust and blistering if repainting. Use a 1:1 solution of water and vinegar to wash raw lime plaster in order to remove excess lime before priming. Cracks should be filled with Perla Primer Acrylic Putty. After thinning, apply in 1-2 coats with the correct application tools. Do not add materials such as lime to increase the amount of ingredients.
Thinning / Blending Ratio
Perla Exterior Silicone Primer can be diluted with water 10% by volume.
Coverage Area
5 - 7 m²/kg on single coat. Varies based on the absorbing power of the surface and application method.
Drying Time
Dries in a minimum of 2 hours at 20°C and 50% relative humidity.
