Properties

Does not leave brush marks, does not flow, adheres well to the surface and provides a smooth and solid surface for the top coat.

Used as a primer under synthetic topcoat paints for the protection of wood and metal surfaces both indoors and outdoors.

Application Method

Surfaces should be cleaned of any dirt, rust and oil. If necessary, surface will be smoothed with Super Putty and sanded. 
Kivastar will be applied on wooden surfaces after the knots will be burned and saturated with Pinostar Decorative Wood Varnish Matt whereas it will be applied on metal surfaces after being primed with Antipas.

1 L Kivastar can be thinned with 50-100 mL of Synthetic Thinner for brush and roller application. Surface can be sanded after one day and top coat synthetic paints can be applied afterwards. 
Brushes and tools can be cleaned with Synthetic Thinner after the application.

Spreading Rate

An area of 13-16 m² can be covered with 1 L and 8-10 m² with 1 kg in a single coat depending on the surface.
