It is a transparent two-component waterproofing material that is easy to apply. It can be easily applied to polyurethane-based, old ceramics, marble, natural stone, wood, glass mosaic and similar difficult surfaces. It has high chemical and physical resistance. After drying, it creates an elastic, transparent, jointless layer. It has high impact resistance, does not fade, does not crack.
Surface Preparation&Application
The application surface must be clean and dry, free from all kinds of dust, dirt, weak and loose particles, cement grout residues, oil and grease. The bottom surface of the concrete should be clean, solid and have sufficient compressive strength (at least 25 N/mm2), a pull-off strength of at least 1.5 N/mm2. The application surface must be cleaned using appropriate methods to ensure maximum adhesion strength. Care should be taken to ensure that the surface temperature is between +5°C and +35°C. Excessive wind should be avoided in the application area. After adding component B (1 measuring cup) to component A (4 measuring cups), mix with an electric mixer at low speed (up to 400 rpm) for 2-3 minutes until homogeneous colour is obtained. Make sure that a continuous, non-porous layer covers the surface with PROF W-TG 2K. Application can be done by brush, roller or spraying. All equipment used should be cleaned with synthetic thinner immediately after the application, before it cures. The cured product can only be cleaned mechanically. It should be applied in 2 coats for better performance. For maximum penetration when applying the first layer, it must be applied to dry surfaces with a suitable roller, brush or sprayer. A second coat can be applied depending on the smoothness of the surface. About 4-6 hours are required between application layers.
